LOGAN, Barbara Alice "Barb" Age 72, of Falmouth, formerly of Hantsport, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Windsor, she was a daughter of the late George and Alice (Smith) MacBurnie. Barb worked and raised her family in Hantsport. She was well known in the community and loved by all who knew her. Barb loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to cook, bake and work in the flower garden. She is survived by sons, Dave (Michele), Brent, Gordon (Alison); grandchildren, Shayla, Ava, Grant, Kaylee and Miranda; brother, Gordon MacBurnie; sister, Ann (Robert) Burden. Besides her parents, Barb was predeceased by husband, Joseph "Joe" Logan and brother, David MacBurnie. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMont Family Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 419 Albert St., PO Box 981, Windsor, NS B0N 2T0 (902-798-8317), where the family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 2. A funeral service celebrating Barb's life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, in the DeMont Family Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow in the Elmcroft Reception Centre. Private family committal will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Barb may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, 5826 South St., Halifax, NS B3H 1S6 or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, 5657 Spring Garden Rd., Halifax, NS B3J 3R4.
